Lyssa deHart, LICSW, MCC, is a Leadership & Confidence Coach, author, and senior faculty member affiliated with the NEXGEN Executive Coaching Academy. She is the author of StoryJacking, The Reflective Coach, Light Up, and Sticky Outcomes, and hosts The Coaching Studio Podcast, where she engages in thought-provoking conversations with thought leaders for coaches and therapists about growth, change, and human understanding.
With a rich background in trauma-informed therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, and somatic awareness, Lyssa is deeply passionate about helping professional coaches refine their mastery of client-led partnerships. She elevates the industry as an Executive & Leadership Coach, Mentor Coach (Specialization: ACC/PCC/MCC), Coaching Supervision Partner, and Coaching Educator.
Since 2018, Lyssa has led the Power of Metaphor Certification Program, empowering coaches to leverage clients' metaphors to deepen partnering and enhance client agency in coaching engagements. A true pioneer in credentialing support, Lyssa designed a first-of-its-kind exam preparation program in August 2022 to help coaches pass the updated ICF exam—a system that has now successfully supported over 8,500 ACC, PCC, and MCC candidates globally.
Beyond coach education, Lyssa has collaborated with leaders across diverse industries—including technology, healthcare, finance, and the military. Her approach beautifully blends science, trauma-informed insight, sharp inquiry, and true partnership, helping individuals and organizations cultivate creative, adaptive leadership. Through all her endeavors, she remains fiercely committed to elevating the quality, safety, and lasting transformation of coaching worldwide.
