About the Speaker
Shankar Vedantam is the host and executive editor of the Hidden Brain podcast and radio show, which receives millions of downloads each month and airs on more than 425 public radio stations. A veteran journalist and former NPR social science correspondent, he is the author of the acclaimed books The Hidden Brain and Useful Delusions. His work has been recognized with the Edward R. Murrow Award and honors from the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
