Session Description: Visibility is one of the most talked-about struggles in coaching and it's one of the least honestly examined. We dress it up as a time problem, a strategy problem, a marketing problem. But underneath? It's fear. And as coaches, we know better than anyone how to avoid looking at that.
This 90-minute learning lab is a playful, provocative, and deeply experiential session designed to help coaches identify their internal systems and limiting beliefs that keep them invisible. In this session, we will begin dismantling them in real time. Participants will engage in hands-on individual and small group exercises that move beyond theory into honest self-examination and actionable insight.
Whether you're a newer coach still finding your voice or an established practitioner who knows they're playing smaller than they could be, this session will touch something. You might even want to raise your hand and push back. That's exactly the point.
Participants will leave with a personal Visibility Manifesto, a practical tool for those moments when the urge to hide creeps in, and a community of coaches who are choosing to be fully seen.
Learning Objectives::
Demonstrate Active Listening (Competency 6) by mirroring neutral observations of a peer’s 3D paper model to allow the "client" to define their own metaphors.
Apply Metaphorical Inquiry (Competency 7) to explore "Invisibility Archetypes," using curiosity-based questions about the paper’s structure to challenge current thinking and reveal subconscious resistance.
Facilitate Growth (Competency 8) by partnering with peers to transform paper "Cloaks" into "Beacons," resulting in a "Brave Truth" statement and measurable 24-hour action plan.
